The Caribbean School of Sport Sciences at the University of Technology, Jamaica is advancing applied AI research across sport and human performance. Current work spans augmented reality for training environments, data-driven nutrition modelling, athlete performance analytics, and drone-based data collection for field and tactical analysis.

This initiative is strengthened through collaboration with the SportsBrain AI Startup Lab and a Development Bank of Jamaica funded AI Lab, creating a pipeline from research to real-world deployment. The focus is practical impact, improving athlete outcomes, supporting coaches with measurable insights, and positioning the Caribbean as a serious contributor to sports science innovation.
